Field Team Manager
Lead, Inspire, Deliver
If you're a natural leader with a background in food safety and auditing, and you're ready to take charge of a high-performing team, this could be your next big move.
As Field Team Manager, you'll be the go-to person for a team of auditors-both employees and contractors. You'll make sure they're trained, supported, and delivering top-quality audits. You'll work closely with senior leadership to keep the team well-resourced and performing at their best. And yes, you'll still get to keep your auditing skills sharp by doing a few audits yourself.
You'll be leading the team across the UK and beyond, helping them grow through coaching and mentoring, and making sure recruitment, onboarding, and training all run smoothly. You'll be the one keeping performance on track, handling reviews, and making sure audits are delivered on time and to a high standard. You'll also be the link between the field and office teams, keeping communication clear and consistent.
On the operational side, you'll be planning resources to meet demand, working with scheduling and admin teams, and stepping in when things need fixing. You'll support client meetings, help with reporting, and attend industry events to stay connected. Calibration sessions and team updates will be part of your rhythm too.
To do well in this role, you'll need a degree in a food-related subject and around 10 years of experience in the industry. You'll know HACCP inside out, have experience leading teams and driving performance, and be confident using Microsoft tools. You'll also be great at building relationships and managing remote teams.
You'll need a passport and driving licence, and be happy to travel and occasionally work outside regular hours.
Why You'll Love It
You'll get to shape and grow a talented team, make a real impact on food safety and quality, and work in a dynamic environment where collaboration and leadership really matter. Plus, you'll be part of a company that values professionalism, development, and results.
