Auditor

Travel, Tackle Challenges, Make a Difference

If you're into food safety, quality assurance, and like the idea of travelling while doing meaningful work, this could be a great fit for you.

As an Auditor, you'll be out in the field - sometimes across the UK, Ireland, and even internationally - visiting food businesses, checking they're meeting the right standards, and helping them improve. You'll work closely with clients and your team, writing up clear reports and staying on top of industry updates.

You'll need to be okay with regular travel, including overseas trips. Flexibility is important - audits don't always stick to a 9-5 schedule, so being willing to go the extra mile is key.

To thrive in this role, you'll probably have a degree in Food Science or similar, or solid experience in the industry. You'll have spent a few years working in food safety, quality assurance, or auditing, and you'll be familiar with standards like ISO 9000 and HACCP. Being confident with Microsoft tools and web systems helps too, along with having a sharp eye for detail and a proactive mindset.

You'll be someone who's organised, analytical, and communicates well. You're comfortable working on your own but also enjoy being part of a team. You're professional, resilient, and know how to handle sensitive information with care.

You'll need a valid passport and driving licence, and be happy to travel and occasionally work outside regular hours.

Why You'll Love It

This is a fast-paced, rewarding role where your expertise helps shape the food industry. You'll get to work with a variety of businesses, travel to interesting places, and be part of a supportive team that values quality and professionalism.
